Tika at 11 months winning BPIG
Biography:
Tika was my foundation bitch, dam of most of the goldens I have produced. Tika was of exceptional quality as she had tons of bone, a strong and broad head, a good top line good angles, tons of coat and a great disposition. Tika finished her championship as a puppy and she also won a Best of Breed, beating several champion specials in the ring at the age of 11 months. At the age of 10, she won the Best Brood Bitch in a Group One Specialty. She was an excellent retriever and swimmer and she was very calm in nature. I really miss Tika a lot as she passed away in September, 2003. Tika was an excellent producer as she produced the top winning golden retriever in Canada in 1999 – Bond, when I bred her to James. top winning golden in the US.
